The Pulai Desaru Beach Resort is located in Bandar Penawar in Kota Tinggi district in the state of Johore. Whether you are driving from the northern states such as Penang, or even the southern areas such as Johor Bahru, you need to get off the motorway at junction Kulai. From Kulai, Kota Tinggi Desaru pass before reaching the road and will take about 2 hours. The resort also has a half-size pool, which includes a section for children to play in. The beach is isolated, which makes it ideal for guests who need some privacy so they can relax and unwind.

There are a number of outlets for food and beverages located in the resort and include the Sea Breeze Café, Castle Dragon Restaurant serves fine dining Chinese Restaurant and Fuji, as the name suggests offers a wide variety of Japanese food . The resort is also equipped with banquet facilities to hold functions there and meeting rooms that can accommodate up to 300 people.

For golf enthusiasts will find that the appeal does not disappoint, which is in 5 minutes is the Desaru Golf and Country Club where guests can tee-off, or guests can opt for the Golf and Country which is located Seban to 30 minutes by car.
